Yes, my dears. Gather ‘round. Because we are going to have a conversation with three best-selling New York Times authors about their brand new summer reads and about each other!

Tybee’s resident author, Mary Kay Andrews has taken over the Tybee Post Theater stage to put together this porch sittin’ cocktail party with two of her besties in the book world – Patti Callahan Henry and Mary Alice Munroe. Mary Kay, who really needs no introduction around these parts is the New York Times bestselling author of 24 novels and divides her time between Atlanta and Tybee, where she owns two cottages, The Breeze Inn and Ebbtide, both named after fictional places in Mary Kay’s novels.

Patti Callahan Henry, author of 15 novels, including the historical fiction, Becoming Mrs. Lewis – The Improbable Love Story of Joy Davidman and C.S. Lewis and her brand new contemporary Southern fiction novel— The Favorite Daughter, she lives in both Mountain Brook, Ala. and Bluffton.

Mary Alice Monroe, the author of 20 novels, many set in her beloved Coastal Carolina, including The Beach House which was adapted into a Hallmark Channel Hall of Fame Movie, and A Lowcountry Christmas which won a 2017 Southern Book Prize in fiction.

We’ll talk books and dish about life in the Lowcountry while sipping complimentary a signature Lowcountry cocktail created just for this special event. All three have new best-sellers and Seaside Sisters will be on hand to sell one, two or all three. This is a summer fundraiser for the Theater.
